About A Ticket to Everywhere

A Ticket to Everywhere is my personal reading journal - an ongoing record of the books I read and the thoughts and reflections they generate.

I read widely, but I'm particularly interested in following authors over time, revisiting familiar works, and occasionally reading favourite authors in publication order to see how they develop. I also love finding new writers to love, and my NetGalley addiction definitely helps with that!

This isn't a review blog in the traditional sense - there are no scores, no strict criteria. Just my reflections, observations, and the occasional tangent. Sometimes that means looking at a book in isolation, sometimes it  means thinking about how it fits into a wider body of work. My tastes are eclectic, but I do have a fondness for crime....

At the moment I'm working my way through Agatha Christie's novels and short story collections in publication order, alongside whatever else happens to catch my attention.

If you enjoy thoughtful, low-key reflections on reading, you are very welcome here. Please do leave a comment, even if it's just to say hello!
